What is data roaming?
Data roaming refers to using mobile internet services when you’re outside your carrier’s network coverage, particularly during international travel. Your phone connects through local networks in the destination country, which usually comes with premium pricing. Without proper planning, casual internet use abroad can generate substantial unexpected charges on your monthly bill.
This issue commonly occurs from partial scans caused by weak internet connections or VPN interference. Switch off your VPN and retry scanning, or manually enter the activation details.
Checking eSIM installation status:
  • Android devices: Navigate to Settings > System > About phone > SIM status to view the ICCID
  • iPhone devices: Open Settings > General > About to check the ICCID
The new ICCID will appear once installation is complete.
Important: eSIM QR codes work only once. Contact our support team at [support email] if you experience errors on your initial scan.

eSIM Activation & Setup

How to activate eSIM
Follow these steps to activate your eSIM:
  1. Use the QR code: You’ll get a QR code sent to your email or available in your user account (link to account – > Active eSIMs) after purchase. Scan it with your device’s camera.
  2. Enter code manually: If scanning doesn’t work, input the activation code manually using the provided details.
  3. Confirm activation: Check your device settings to verify successful eSIM installation and activation. The new ICCID (SIM Card ID) should appear once complete.
Navigate to Settings: Open the Settings application on your iPhone.
  1. Select Mobile Data: Choose Mobile Data, then select Add Data Plan.
  2. Use Camera to Scan: Point your iPhone’s camera at the eSIM QR code provided.
  3. Create a Label: Assign a name to identify the new eSIM, like “Business” or “International”.
  4. Finalize Activation: The eSIM will be activated, allowing you to manage data plans through Settings.
Option 1: QR Code Method
  1. Launch Settings: Open Settings on your Android phone.
  2. Navigate to Network: Choose Connections > SIM Card Manager or Mobile Network.
  3. Create Mobile Plan: Select Add Mobile Plan.
  4. Capture QR Code: Point your camera at the eSIM QR code supplied.
  5. Turn On Data Services: Post-installation, verify Data and Roaming are switched on for travel use.
  6. Finish Setup: Complete the process by following screen instructions.
Option 2: Manual Code Entry
  1. Access Settings: Navigate to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager.
  2. Create Mobile Plan: Select Add Mobile Plan.
  3. Enter Code Manually: Choose manual entry and input the provided activation code.
  4. Confirm Data Settings: After setup, check that Data and Roaming are both enabled.
  5. Finalize Activation: Complete the remaining activation steps.
